Hello

I just installed compiz on slackware 12 using the gslapt program and every thing is working find, however i would like to have compiz start at boot up instead of having to run the compiz-fusion icon every time i boot into kde.

thanks in advance

hey slack_user,
I am not up on KDE but let me paste what we use on #compiz-fusion for this question;

There is no standard way to autostart compiz on kde,......options available include adding compiz-manager or fusion-icon to the autostart directory, ~/.kde/Autostart

hope that helps
