I'm running Gentoo with Xorg 7.2, Compiz Fusion 0.6.0, Emerald 0.5.2 with an Intel card and I"m getting the old bug, no window decorations, no borders, buttons, etc.
Attached is my Xorg.conf with all options I've set trying to solve this.
I also tried running "compiz --replace" and "emerald --replace", at startup on Gnome, at the command line while compiz is running. No errors, nothing. If I run the "gtk-window-decorator --replace", I get white thin borders on my windows (nothing else), if I run "emerald --replace", I get the shadows around windows, but still, no title bar, no minimize, etc.
Compiz is running fine, I used ccsm to enable effects (and, of course, the Window Decorator plugin), like rotating cube, and its working, my windows refresh OK, the only problem seems to be the Window Decorator not working.
Any hints? I know this question was asked many times, I spent the last 4 hours looking for a solution, and tried pretty much everything I could find using Google and this Foruns search.
