Hey,
I use 2 graphics cards in my rig, each one drives its own monitor and I run xorg with Xinerama enabled so I have a single desktop across both screens. The problem is this disables RandR which prevents Compiz/Beryl from starting. Its really annoying and should be a non issue, for example Xinerama always used to work with an XGL+Compiz setup, so why doesn't it work with AIGLX?
I just installed 0.5 which I was told deals with the Xinerama issue, but it doesn't, at least not for people using different cards for each monitor (maybe it works with a dual headed card using Twinview or something, but not with seperate cards).
I would really like to use Compiz again, so can someone tell me if there are any plans to fix the Xinerama issue and if so, what sort of timeline?
Thanks
Paladine
