Is it just my connection or has the openSUSE repo been on it's knees the last couple of days?

openSUSE repo just redirects to a mirror which could be slow.

Check out the opensuse.org to find out more mirrors near you.

Hmmm. I'm not seeing it re-direct. Anyway, I'll just use a mirror if I need anything else.

I can't mirror all of openSUSE (I wish I had that much storage and bandwidth), but I would be willing to host or mirror the xgl/compiz/beryl and related packages if that would be helpful.

google repositories/X11:/XGL turns up few mirrors that can be used, select nearest to you.

Many of the mirrors listed here: http://en.opensuse.org/Mirrors_Released_Version also mirror all the openSUSE build service repositories.
