Hi
i have compiz-fusion enabled in my ubuntu, and everytime i open a movie it
freezes my notebook
Please help me.

I believe to have the same problem, _if_ what you mean by freeze of your laptop is getting a blank screen (not always, but usually) with no control over your device and all you can do is poweroff your laptop. Similar behaviour also happens _sometimes_ during shutdown.
For the curious ones: In that case, I also tried Magic SysRq key combinations (famous: <alt><sys rq>reisub), but laptop won't get no input at all.
Any help is greatly appreciated also by me!

This report goes for Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) with:
- compiz 0.7.4
- Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)
- xserver-xorg-video-intel drivers 2.2.1

yes, its the same to me. and the problem its that Linux without compiz its boring.
any help please?
