Another plugins idea: Light on decoration

An idea for emerald. I imagine some light effects, like the default theme in enlightenment for example, on mouse over or repeat after a timer. It should be more beautiful than reflexion. But I'm not a programmer ...I don't know if it is possible

I'm not sure what you mean by light effects, is there a video which demonstrates this?

both seem well, but I imagine more the E17 apparence with the effect of spot over the entire length of decorations. lighting on the text would be less visible it seems to me

I am sure something like this would be able to be implemented in emerald (though I don't think it will be).

However, something similar can be achieved with my (work in progress) decorator (jasper). At the moment it is possible for the whole decoration (or a particular piece such as the top bar) to slowly change colour.

But I also want to add a pulse effect, which with correct settings should be able to replicate the desired effect (by pulse effect, I mean rather than the whole decoration changing colour, only a small piece does, and the affected part moves along the decoration)

Although it may be a while before I get around to doing this, as there is lots of other things to do (such as making it work properly ;))
