Multiseat

I have a PC with one video card (dual head) and want to make it multiseat. Can Compiz / xgl handle evdev to separate the different inputs? Can you run 2 different processes of xgl and Compiz? Has anyone done this yet? I'm trying to create a kiosk with 2 screens and one PC... Any suggestions???

I think your chances depend on the graphics card you are using, you have most chance with an nvidia card and the beta drivers on top of normal X. AIXGL may be possible but harder, and you may have real problems with Xgl.

You could then get a system working with KDE/Gnome and then work from there. I think we would be interested in any bugs or problems you find, we can report them upstream if you like and hopefully get a fix.

Good luck in your attempts though :) If you do get something working, please let us know any problems you had or if it was straightforward.
