Left click left edge of screen, hold and drag to perform a mouse selection on a KDE desktop with no other windows showing. Then attempt to perform a Compiz Fusion function that is bound to a mouse button or wheel or button+key combo.... If there is no response the error has been demonstrated. To obtain Compiz mouse button bind functionaly again just move the mouse arrow over any window type(like the taskbar) or move the mouse arrow to a screen edge bound to a Compiz function.

Reproducible bug part 2:

Play some Unreal Tournament for 15 minutes to an hour to decrease your response time. I recommend UT 99 or UT 3. With a window not maximized activate the Shift Switcher with the mouse pointer not hovering over the window at the time of activation. With your battle hardened twitch skills terminate the Shift Switcher and activate a Compiz mouse function(like wheel over the desktop to rotate the cube) in quick succession. Then attempt to perform any other Compiz mouse action. If there is no response the error has been demonstrated. Again the Compiz mouse button binds are restored when ever you mouse over any window type.

One solution to Reproducible bug part 2 is to increase the Fade speed of the Shift Switcher.

P.S. If you're old then you may want to try using two hands on your mouse to activate the quick succession of button or wheel presses.

P.P.S Should I try to take a screen capture to show that z buffer error with 3d windows and the transparent Cylinder plugin? (Resolved)

I attached a test Default.ini file.
