View Full Version : Unsolved kicker and karamba applets disappear after update

After upgrading to compiz version 0.7.4-6.1 in openSUSE, the task bar panel (kicker) and superkaramba applets are no longer visible.
The workaround to get them back is to start ccsm and de- and reselect a random plugin, then they appear.
Can anyone else confirm this? Should we submit a bug report?

hi,
happened to me twice (KDE 3.5.9, compiz-fusion 0.7.4), but I am not able to reproduce it. Seems to be completely random in my case.
cheers

It seems it is happening when I reboot a PC, killing the X server or re-logging is not causing the problem. I had time to reboot my PC only twice so far, and both times I had the same result - missing Superkaramba applets and kicker, although when I put the mouse pointer over the place where the kicker should have been and click I caould launch applications.
