With the recent changes, we lost a link to the Develop page, it contains some important info about using git.

Yes, I knew no real place for it yet and am not happy with the page as such. I think having one page named "Development" which contains mostly info about installation and roadmap is no serious developer-info. I was never a big fan of the initial menu-layout so I tried to re-think the whole structure, but I am yet unsure if we shouldn't create a separate "Developers"-tab with all info related to developing and coding compiz (including developer's FAQ commit-howto and info about sending patches).

Maybe amgeex and the other "wiki-specialists" can add their thoughts on this? (I guess I have to subscribe to the compizweb-list ... :D)

Yeah - I agree, it could do with a bit of a rework. The git info is good though (more could be added for a basic overview)
