Compiz Roadmap

I just saw that David has released a compiz-roadmap on the mailing-list. Here is the link: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/compiz/2006-November/000870.html

He has some nice improvements coming on the road ...

It’s also very nice to see that David is also concentrated on improving the framework and not providing eye candy.

This is what is expected from a project leader, to improve the internals so that other people can write components easier and with fewer dependencies.

Now the only thing missing is to have a few really competent people (besides mikedee and some others) who can provide guidance and also audit code before it’s actually committed. This I believe can dramatically improve code quality and reduce defects across all plugins. This also will help reduce the pressure on people who heavily contribute code at the moment, they are few and they require assistance.
I can promise that I will try my best to help when I feel comfortable around compiz code
