I can’t install the compiz-extra-gnome package if i already have compiz-extra installed, it gives me this error:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/compiz-extra-gnome_0.3.6.0-0ubuntu2_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/gconf/schemas/wallpaper.schemas’, which is also in package compiz-extra
Also i can’t install gnome-compiz-manager-extra, it gives me this error:
gnome-compiz-manager-extra:
Depends: libgnome-compiz-manager but it is not installable
I think the problem with the second one is that the libgnome-compiz-manager is called libgnome-compiz-manager0.
Is there an easy way to fix these problems?

just install it using:
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/compiz-extra-gnome_0.3.6.0-0ubuntu2_i386.deb

I got the same problem, dunno "exactly" what to do... maybe forcing with a symbolic link to libgnome-compiz-manager0? :': Or is it an heresy? Hope Gandalfin could fix it on his repos soon...
Thank you davim, I solve that problem too with your string!

Its just a dependency error. You can't just link stuff, as its looking for the actual package. You can download the source archive from gandalfn's repo, change the dependencies in debian/control, and rebuild it. I tried this already, I ran into compiling problems though. It wasn't just a matter of missing build-deps, it was giving me errors about definitions in the source. I dont remember what exactly.
Anyway, you can try that yourself, maybe you'll have more luck than me :) I'll be working on it again as soon as I have time.

Ach, I hope so... 'cuz since Dapper I had lots of problems in compiling Compiz from sources/debs and so just with Feisty all goes well (I'm under ATI...): maybe it's better to have less features instead of break something... Btw, one day I'll try... thank u!
