I love Wikis.

Since I'm sorta into advertising beryl through screen shots and videos, I'm willing to make a new feature overview of the first composite community release. I will make a screenshot tour and a promotional video. (Yes I will actually make a good one instead of another one of those wierd choppy youtube videos out there already ;))

Since I have been using compositioned desktops for about 8 months now, I really want to put back into the community with something official. (But not code because I really suck at it. Maybe one day I'll get off my ass and learn C/C#/C++/Python one day... *dreams :)*

Anyway, I'm wondering what features really stand out to you which make Compiz special right now. What would you want to see in a feature overview?

Here is my list for now

*Cube (Staple effect of compiz, who is Idiot enough to leave it out ;))
*Scale and Switcher (Ring too)
*Wobbly
*Real time transluecency
*Thumbnails @ taskbar
*Group and Tab
*Wall?
*Animation Plugin
*Blur effects
*Real time window effects. Opacity, Brightness, Saturation and Negative windows
*Accessibility features
*Doodads (Such as water, snow, fireflies, stars etc)
*Config stuff
*Rant about how live previews are the best thing since sliced bread
*Whats coming up with Input Redirection around the corner.

This is already in the works.

RYX is designing a fourth tab for the top of the forums which will feature all of the community plugins.

Yes, but it would be great if we already had some nice screenshots and info once I have finished the Plugin-template for the wiki. (btw: I am amazed by the wiki-templates and how easy it is to create plugin-pages which look all similar ... with very little amount of work for the editor).

:)

Well, If you want - I'll do it. As well as a proper YouTube video with good music, subtitles and all.

I think its a great idea to have everything a Wiki. Sure theres spam and such but its a lot better than the Beryl site which cannot be edited (So the feature overview is out of date.)
