I'm hoping I've overlooked something, but I'm wanting to use Workspace Plane and have a similar effect to the Edge Flip effect associated w/ Desktop Cube. I would like my workspace to change as I drag a new window into it. For the time being I have been using Expo to zoom out, drag said window to it's new workspace, but simply dragging it would be fantastic. Please Post back and let me know if I've overlooked something. Thanks =]

I'm not sure if workspace plane has the same feaure, but you can try enabling desktop wall (which does essentially the same thing) and enable an option like 'edge flip drag' or something similar.

Plane doesn't support it, and there's absolutely no reason to use it over wall :) In fact, there's no reason for it to exist at all (other than that it's in compiz and wall is in compiz fusion)
