Is there a way that I can in the general key bindings options in compiz config settings manager change a binding from keyboard to mouse. Some of the settings have both mouse set and keyboard set, but some do not have mouse setup. I'd like to have mouse setup for the show desktop binding and the show main menu. Is there a way I can get this set up?

Thanks,
Craig

what are the plugins that you need to change the keybindings?

It is just in the general options in ccsm, under the key bindings tab. I think show desktop used to be its own plugin, but I do not see a pane for it anymore, I think maybe it was integrated into the compiz fusion general stuff. and the show main menu i think would be a general option, or perhaps part of compiz-gnome or something.

EDIT: Nevermind about the show desktop mouse binding though, you could at least set it to a desktop corner in the general tab in general options (i still dont see a place to set it to a mouse button like some settings, but o well)

For compiz key bindings, is it not possible to set two mouse buttons as a binding, i'd like it if mouse button1+button3 could be bound to my show main menu, but i dont see a way to program binding to two mouse buttons, so idk if its possible.

Hey craigyjack,
I use F4 for show desktop and to do that go to ccsm...general options...Keybinindings tab..Show Desktop..click the large button...click grap key...press the keys you want and click ok. That should be it. It works for me :)

That wasn't what I was looking for, I already knew how to do that - I was trying to set it up with mouse bindings and not key bindings. But o well, I am settling for what i got now, I don't feel like messing with it anymore - i don't think setting bindings for two mouse buttons being pressed is easy.
