Hey there,
I don't quite know if this would be a new feature, so I'll ask here first. Is there
a way to reapply the placement rules for existing windows? My problem is that
I switch between two heads with xrandr a lot and that changes the resolution
of the root window.
Often that means that windows are placed on different workspaces than
according to their placement rules afterwards. If I could reapply the
placement rules to existing windows with a command, I could just
automatically resort the desktop and everything would be awesome.
Tell me if this should be posted to feature requests.
All my best,
david
