Hi,
I use this command to disable the audio bell and enable wobbly instead
gconftool-2 -t bool -s /apps/compiz/plugins/wobbly/allscreens/options/shiver_bell true

when I udpated compiz last time wobbly disappear and audio bell returned...
Is there a way to solve this problem?
Please help.

Hey sblantipodi,
How are you starting compiz fusion?
I am going to assume you are running Ubuntu, even if not , i would suggest installing compizconfig-settings-manager. In ubuntu it is simply sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager.
That should show up under system/preferences, if not you can call it up in terminal with ccsm.
Then I would go to "preferences" in ccsm and change the backend to flatfile. This will stop the need to edit in gconf.
Open the wobbly windows plugin in ccsm and change the map and/or focus effects to shiver.
Also, if you do change this to flat file backend, it most likely the settings you have already made will change and you will have to redo them in ccsm not gconf.
