View Full Version : Sidebar screenlet gets on top

On startup, after login, all screenlets launch and then, after that, a sidebar screenlet is launched and covers others screenlets instead of being below, although that option is checked (I am using version 1.5 from gnome-look).
Is there a way to fix this behavior?

I had the same issue, and was really fed up with it!
So i took the sidebar design and had it to the wallpaper, like so I don't have to run it, less resources used and no problem anymore of what is on top!

Haha, nice trick sweetthdevil! :)
But it would be nice if this could be properly fixed.

You need to check "keep below" for the sidebar, while the screenlets you want on top of the sidaber needs to be unchecked for both "keep below" and "keep above".
Occasionally you'll get the unchecked screenlets of a newly opened window, then you just need to click the window so it gains focus.

That is the way my screenlets are organized (sidebar keep below and others both options unchecked), but still sidebar is above other screenlets for some reason...

Weird, I've never seen this, and I've used SidebarScreenlet on and off for ~ 1 year.
(Ditched it for SysmonitorScreenlet now. Hoping that Whise will be able to make the Sidebar-themes available for Sysmonitor.)
