emerald troubles and fusion icon troubles

I was just writing up a post to explain the problems i was having with emerald, fusion icon, and then libcompizconfig-python. I found out all these problems were because I didn't have the python-dev packages (i figured it out from the error messages I was receiving). But after I installed the python-dev packages, everything worked fine - i compiled libcompizconfig-python, and then fusion-icon and emerald were able to work and i have the latest compiz fusion from git :)

Just wanted to say this because the installation wiki did not say anyhting about making sure to have the python-dev packages installed. I know it might seem self-explanatory to you guys, but to others not so experienced, like myself, it caused problems until I could figure it out.
