Hello, yesterday I got a new laptop ... And I've installed archlinux because I heard it's fastest (and I can see now it is :D), and I ran:
sudo pacman -S compiz-fusion
and got compiz fusion now, but I have 2 problems:
1) When I activate shift, after some time, windows dissapear ...
2) I don't know how to install atlantis2 :)

Hello!
Could you please change the thread title to something more descriptive? Like something that mentions both "shift" and "atlantis-2"? I have to admit that "archlinux" is what attracted me to this thread in the first place, but.... That's not what was supposed to happen. ^^;
The Compiz Fusion packages in Arch's community repository are based on the 0.6.2/0.6.0 release, so you'll need to compile a 0.6-compatible version of atlantis-2. Most of the instructions from scottDkoDer's guide (http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?t=5303) should also work for Arch, but you can skip the instruction about installing build dependencies. :) You'll need the compiz-bcop package because it isn't part of the compiz-fusion group, but that should be enough. If trying to compile gives you errors, post back here and I'll help you figure out what you're missing.
Could you describe your problem with the Shift plugin in more detail? Which windows disappear? Are they done from your desktop, or just from the Shift switcher?
