I'm not too sure about those instructions. I install openSUSE 10.2 on several different boxes and never did all that.

Oh how much I hate those sites that contain twice as much google-ads than they have content ... however - there is a better and easier way to run Xgl than entirely replacing xorg with it (by creating an alternative x-session). Xgl is not cool as the primary X-server ... (and if he hits Shift+backspace with his setup, he should be surprised).

But any publicity for compiz is good ... :D
