I read in many themes specifics about KDE such as with this theme:
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/KORE+Reviving?content=65266
I'm using Gnome. That theme above is directed to KDE.
Does ccsm or emerald manager care? Or are they interchangeable?

Hey Lor Boo,
No unfortunalely they are not interchageable.
If you are running gnome you need to go to gnome.look.org and in the left hand column look for GTK2 themes. These are , as well as metacity themes, the themes you will use, however when using compiz fusion and emerald,..gtk2 themes will only theme menus, panels, window interiors, while metacity themes are disabled. If you want to use a gtk2 theme you have to disable emerald with .....
gtk-window-decorator --replace
This will kill emerald and run the gtk2 themes.
Also on gnome.look.org. in the search field..if you type in "suite" it will being up packages of matching emerald and gtk2 themes. With these suites you can add color to the menus and window interiors while emerald will decorate the window borders but all will match.
