Metacity has a feature that allows you to switch focus to your panels using a keyboard shortcut of your choice. However, when Compiz is active these options disappear from the keyboard shortcut applet, and I can't find the equivalent feature in Compiz Settings Manager.
How do I get this feature to work while using Compiz? It's really annoying to not be able to access the taskbar / window list from the keyboard anymore.
Thanks.

It was rebinded to Alt-F1 because Super/Windows Key is used in many of the key combinations :D

Thanks for the reply.
Where is the the setting for this though? I can't find it anywhere and I wish to set my own preferred key combination for it.

Depending on the version of ccsm you're using, the option should either be at General Options->Key bindings->Show Main Menu or General Options->Actions->General->Show Main Menu.

Er .... I'm confused. What has 'Show Main Menu' got to do with switching between different panels?
I'm trying to find the switch panel options that were there previously (I already know how to open the System menu using the keyboard).
There were previously two ways to be able to access your panels using the keyboard, but these options have disappeared since installing Compiz-Fusion, and there are no equivalent settings in the CCSM. So, I can focus to the Desktop using a keyboard shortcut, but I can't access my panels (because the settings for doing so have just disappeared).
Check the screenshot below to see the specific options that I am referring to:

Actually, I didn't have any idea what you were talking about until you posted that screenshot. :p
some-guy said something about an Alt+F1 shortcut, so I grep'd through /usr/share/compiz for any shortcut defaulting to "<Alt>F1", resulting in exactly one match: the key binding for Show Main Menu. Please forgive me if that's not what you were asking at all.

No problem.
Now that I have posted the screenshot (so that people can see exactly what I'm talking about) hopefully someone will be able to tell me how regain this functionality that was lost when installing Compiz.
If there is no way to get this important feature back, then maybe a bug will have to be submitted about it.
If anyone can help, I'd be grateful.
