Videos as Cube Caps or Skydome

It would be awesome to be able to have a video playing as a cube cap or as the Skydome image - any way that could be done?

well a new plugin would have to be made made to render videos, (maybe use mplayer?) then desktop cube and cubecaps plugins would have to be modified to add support for it, but it will use a HUGE amount of CPU and GPU power to render something that big ;D
