Video Playback

I have multiple machines running opensuse 10.3 with radeon video cards, and I've recompiled mplayer to support the video playback plugin. They all work great. However, another machine with an intel GPU just shows a blue window when using the exact same version of mplayer with the xv output device. Any ideas what's going on here and how to fix it?

Never mind. I got it working by changing to 24 bit depth. Now video playback works fine with Xv and the playback plugin.
