heres my idea which I would like to do, but really couldnt be bothered to figure out how to do it myself =P Besides it took me 4 weeks to get compiz working on my laptop....im really not in the mood to potentially break it.
Basically when a App crashes or becomes unresponsive, compiz desaturates the colour from the window to make it blatantly obvious that something has crashed. What would be cool (no pun intended) is to have compiz "freeze" the window instead, give it icicles and stuff to make it look like its frozen. A neat little effect to show off to your friends.....cos compiz is really just Eye candy...y not have it do silly little things like this?
I do code so if u guys need help im sure i can lend a hand.
