In Beryl you can see a small view of the window when holding over it in the "status bar" (dont know what it is called in linux/gnome).
Will you also add that feature to compiz?
Also in beryl a window can bee between to of the 4 virtual desktops, this make you have 4 time more desktop-place, will you add that feature?
In my Ubuntu 7.04 alpha 4 the cube dont work, but i think it has something to do witg the ubuntu team, not you?

Search for the thumbnail plugin

Compiz had that feature from the start? Unless I misunderstand what you mean

Check that you have 4 viewports enabled by changing this gconf preference to 4
/apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/hsize

but can you add the thumpnail to compiz as default? The thumpnails are one of the best features in vista and beryl, so i hope you will add it?

Thumbnail support will be added to compiz core eventually. It will be down to each taskbar to use the feature or not.
It will likely be added after input redirection is available so that thumbnailed windows will show minimised windows properly.
