hello

firstly, wrong forum completely, let alone wrong section, so I'm moving this to linux talk (though really, it should be on the ubuntu forums, this forum is for compiz/compiz-fusion)

as for you question

when you put your pendrive into the computer, a little icon will come onto the desktop, right click that and choose unmount, and that should do the trick....

(as long as it still isn't writing to it, which ubuntu usually tells you if it is...)

also, sometimes it doesn't say that it's safe to take out the pendrive, but I think as long as it doesn't say data is still writing to it, and the icon is gone from the desktop, then it's fine to take it out....

:D
