Avant Windows manager problems [Archive]

Whilts on my quest to personalise my Ubuntu experience i installed AWM..
BUT.. i have this annoying white line problem here i have a code extract from when i started it using the terminal and inserted one Applet

now i have no idea what this means any help would be appreciated and im sorry if this is the incorrectplace to post this kind of thing.

Hi

I get those problems when AWM can't load an applet you are trying to get it to load. Maybe if you try to remove the trouble-some applets then the white lines will disappear.

How do you install awn?

awn forum is for awn :D
so in this case, the awn forum is the place you're more likely to get people who know things about awn
