Window list having just windows from that workspace

I tried searching the forums and google, but I wasn't quite sure exactly what keywords to search for.

Anyway, I've used both AWN and the normal gnome methods for my window list. I love workspaces, but the thing I like most about them seems to be broken. No matter what I try, all the windows are on the window list at all time. No matter which workspace I am in, they are all down there. I would like it to show just the windows from the current workspace.

I am running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon with nvidia drivers. I don't think I'm using XGL, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you check the context menu of the Window List applet if it's set to Show windows from current workspace?

Yes, it's already set to show windows from only the current workspace.
