Hallo everybody. Using KDE on PCLinuxOS the shortcut for killing a window doesn't seem to work anymore after installing compiz-fusion. Had beryl installed before and upgraded it to cf through synaptic but cannot remember if ctrl+alt+esc worked with beryl. Is that normal or there's a problem? Thanks in advance...

KDE's Ctrl+Alt+Escape shortcut is managed by KWin, so it won't work once Compiz has replaced it as the window manager. You can assign the xkill command to a keyboard shortcut for roughly the same effect, though.

Enter "xkill" into one of the command lines available at ccsm->General Options->Commands, then assign a keyboard shortcut to that corresponding command.

The Escape key can't be used as part of any Compiz shortcut, so you'll have to choose a different combination...

If you get it to work, please edit your original post to mark this as "Solved".
