I'm having two problems which I think are due to the same reason...
When I initiate negative colors plugin I get a black window (decorations are displayed correctly) and when I initiate rain plugin all windows are gray and the decoration is dark gray (probably due to the border color of my theme).
I have an Intel gma X3100 with shared memory (acer notebook).
I tried playing with the openGLOverlay/XVOverlay settings in xorg.conf with no result - was just guessing ;)
