View Full Version : Stationary Cube Caps

In Beryl ... I could rotate my cube and park the cube cap (top or bottom) on my screen and it would stay there. In Compiz-Fusion, when I rotate my cube to either my top or bottom cap and want to park it on my screen, (not revealing my desktop), I can't do it. The cube simply spins back to my desktop. Is there a way to do that? Am I just over looking a setting?

Another slight pain is... having to hold Ctrl+Alt+Button1 to spin my cube... I am sure this has probably been addressed somewhere... but while I'm here... how do I set that back up to just use the mouse wheel? - UPDATE - Figured mouse wheel out by changing to Button2.

Thank you in advance for the help. -noah

Hey OpnSrc,
One thing to do is open ccsm and go to the rotate cube plugin and enable Snap to top face.
You cant snap to bottom face in compiz fusion for some reason.
also enable the viewpor switcher plugin to get the beryl mouse rotations.
let me know if this works

That worked excellently for the top of the cube... Thank you ... hope they include a "snap to bottom face" in an up and coming release.
