Bug with images on top of the cube

Images on top of the cube have different colors than the original images.
For example if I try to put this (http://hendrik.kaju.pri.ee/img/drawing.png) on top, I get this (http://hendrik.kaju.pri.ee/img/scrn1.png) as a result.
I am using Compiz 0.3.6 from gandalfn's repo, Ubuntu Edgy and i915.

It seems that the image you're trying to apply is transparent and as the cap isn't transparent or white it can be seen through the image

They are not transparent. I have tried it with other images and it is still the same.

Try changing /apps/compiz/plugins/cube/color to "#ffffffff". For some reason this key has a stupid default value...

My girlfriend has the exact same problem, and no, changing the color in gconf won't do jack. And the images are not transparent, it always happens with ANY image.

Same here. The cube color is already #ffffffff and it doesn't change anything.
