Hello,

I haven't even been using Linux for 24 hours and I love it! The bad news is I really have no other site to goto for support but this site, so please bare with my noobieness.

I have a question on widgets though. Every youtube video of Ubuntu has widgets. How can I enable widgets on my computer?

Thanks everyone,

firstly, ubuntu has a really good forum for support
www.ubuntuforums.org

as for widgets, there is screenlets (http://screenlets.org/index.php/Home) :D
(forum for screenlets is a section on this forum here http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/forumdisplay.php?f=102)

(there are others, but their names escape me right now, other people should know...)

screenlets is a very good widget program. It uses the capabilities of compiz. Some other programs are Gdesklets and for KDE users Super Karamba....
