So...I'm eloping with Linux from OS X. the only app I really miss is Quicksilver. the way I understand it, QS just does a bunch of terminal stuff but with a pretty GUI. now, i've seen katapult and whatnot, but to me QS was never a launcher. i used it for moving, copying, whipping off quick emails ... information manipulation.
the way i understand it, alcor is going to open up the source for QS when he releases the leopard build. i know absolutely nothing about programming, but when that source opens up will that make it "easy" to make a Linux version of QS? am i stepping on Linux-toes even suggesting this?
