Going crazy

Hi guys;

I think I saw a topic about a script to get the 3d windows running on compiz-fusion ubuntu gutsy, but some how I lost it.
Help me out I've turned this forum inside out and still can't find it.

Prior to your post, it was the 2nd result if you searched for "3d gutsy" in the forums search utility... Now it's number 3 :-) However, here's the direct link... Specifically, you're looking for maniac's post with the link to a snapshot of the plugin:

Thanks but it wasn't that one, it was a topic where someone specificaly said they made a script so ppl could get 3d windows plugins in ubuntu gutsy with compiz fusion.
Hmmmm, maybe it was over at ubuntu's forums.

I'll keep looking.

Just grab the snapshot listed in the thread I linked to, and compile the 3D windows plugin. No need to use any fancy script. Just make sure you have the compiz development packages installed and it should just work.
