Session going down, if Fusion-Icon start

I checked out so many Howtos and troubleshootings, but there isn't an answer.

The Problem is, that Compiz-Fusion works I can roll the cube, and some other devices, but if I want change something in the compizmanager, all the Changes do nothing. Ok I checked out google, the answer is fusion Icon, ok I install fusion-icon. But if I started this tool the session broke up, and I have to log in. But nothings gonna change.
If I started with emerald, I have an ugly windowdercoration, I hate it, and all the other styles destroy my eyes, but I used for a try. But nothing changes and fusion-icons remain the same. :-(
What can I do, that this little thing work? Are there some
