Is there somewhere I can just download someones settings, and tweak from there? There are so many options available under CF, I don't have the time right now to configure everything.

I dont think there is a place online that people generally upload their settings files for others to use however I will attach mine. When you unzip this package go into the folder and find the Default.ini file and place that in home/.config/compiz/compizconfig folder to replace the one that is already there. Then reload the window manager, ie, restart compiz fusion and the settings should take effect. now there will be some things not available like the cube caps image and the skydome image, and you will have to go into ccsm to change them to what is on you system .

and for the purpose of choice, here's mine

laptopconfig (http://delfick.storage.googlepages.com/laptopConfig.ini) is the config i use on my laptop which has integrated intel graphics

desktopconfig (http://delfick.storage.googlepages.com/desktopConfig.ini) is the one I use on my desktop with Nvidia geforce 6600GT)
