Compizfusion doesn't work under KDE..that simple. I have ubuntu, gutsy gibbon the second beta, both gnome and KDE are installed, and the latest version both. The compizfusion settings manager could be found in both destkops, but it works, perfectly and I mean perfectly under gnome, but under KDE it's a doorknob. Nothing whatsoever, I get no error messages, no nothing, no matter what the settings I choose in compizfusion settings manager. Let it be window wobble effect, rain drops, cube...etc you name it..doesn't work whatsoever.
I have a 8600 GT XFX video card, and I have the latest nvidia drivers 100.14.19 installed on my system and they're working perfectly.
can someone help me? or just tell me how to get those effects to work on KDE

Have you tried running compiz from a terminal with the command:
$ compiz --replace --sm-disable ccp
What message(s) do you get?

This is what I got when I ran this command under KDE:

and this the message I got when I ran it under gnome:
" root@redheat-Ubuntu:~# compiz --replace --sm-disable ccp

So after you started it in KDE, and you stopped getting any output from the command, did compiz actually work?

no. I had to log out and then login back again to get it started, and I even had to go to ubuntu+1 irc channel to show me how to undo the command I just entered. they gave me a command like compiz --replace..something like that sorry don't remember what it was, but anyway, no it didn't work, even in the gnome environment it stopped. The moment I logged out and then in again, it worked just fine, except for KDE which still had the same problem as before.

IT IS WORKING...
Just open the terminal and type the following in it:
sudo apt-get -y install compiz compiz-kde compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-fusion-plugins-extra libcompizconfig-backend-kconfig
now press alt+F2 and type:
compiz --replace
it should work..
I found out about that form visiting this website:
