Hi Forum,

According to this page http://computerbits.wordpress.com/2006/11/02/compiz-key-combinations-list/
mouse button3 means the right mouse button and mouse button5 means mouse wheel down.

I'd like to rotate the cube to the right by scrolling down the mouse wheel while the pointer is above the desktop. When the pointer is above a window, rotation shouldn't initiate by scrolling.

Further, the rotation to the right should carry the active window to the right viewport by clicking mouse button right + scrolling down.

On my desktop pc the first configuration (rotation without active window transfer) works fine with beryl. I wonder, if it is also possible with compiz and how you can manage.

Thanks in advance for your hints!

Regards,

Hi,
I use a tool called compiz settings manager 0.7 by Ben Reeves. You can configure each plugin from it, it is quite extensive. I got an installable file called compiz-settings_0.07-2_i386.deb, not sure from where I got it exactly. I think it was from here http://www.compiz.org/Gnome_Compiz_Manager.
You can configure hot key and mouse actions from pluginname/actionbindings. Not sure if there are version collision issues, but it works for whichever version of compiz is pre-installed with Ubuntu 7.04. good luck.
