Keybindings / new effects not working

Hi everybody,

i just installed compiz-fusion and it works fine so far (wobbly windows, rotating cube,...).
I also want to use/try the other plugins, but enabling them via ccsm doesn't show them when i press the key combination. I also tried to set other combinations for the effect but it didn't help. Is something intercepting my bindings ? But as I have told before all other plugins work smoothly..great job so far :)

Edit: Is this the right forum or should it be moved in the general usage forum ? I'm unsure...

Ok, i solved it myself. In my compiz-start file there was a reference to gconf which was unknown. Replaced it with ccp and now ccsm works perfect :)

Just one more question. If I have many windows open on my desktop, the inactive ones become opaque. A little bit to much for my taste cause you can see the desktop. Where can i change this behaviour ?

You mean they become translucent?
You can configure this in the options of the "Trailfocus" plugin (under Effects).
