Startup & Confiuration for Kubuntu

I followed the directions here (http://compiz.org/How_to_compile_and_run_Compiz_for_nvidia_card_user s#Create_the_startup_script) but don't know which of the options will work best on my system.

Also, how can I make compiz startup with x?
