The window just appears and disappears regardless of the effect in use or plugin that provides min / max feature.
This behavior is unexpected because the minimize / maximize plugin worked properly in Beryl with kxdocker. With Beryl, animations that ended their special effect to the location of the taskbar icon instead went to the bottom middle of the screen, such as magic lamp.
When I enabled the KDE panel and taskbar extension, the animations worked as expected, however the point of kxdocker is to replace the panel / taskbar.
