The title says it all - Vista ads wherever I look ... on TV, on radio on the net ... it drives me mad. Is it a world-wide phenomenon or only here? ... (maybe turning off the tv would help :))

:x :x :x

The same here :(
The worst is that the ads lie about Vista's new features - improved security and so... and some of my friends have already installed this... thing... :?
And the second worst thing is that they force us behave like some idiots and produce primitive sounds like "wow" :)

It seems that Linux doesn't need anything like this... Maybe MS is scared of some competitor?

Me spins his nice cube and wobbles windows around.
Someone from behind passing by: "Oh, look he got Vista running, amazing! Have to install it on my PC asap."

Strange... It seems all the ads are gone. I haven't seen any in the last week or so. Maybe they have found some very crucial bugs and try to stop the campaign again?
What about you?

@FunkyM: LOL, most funny :lol:

WOW!

When I installed Vista, my printer wouldn't work, the CPU is always 100% and Aero is as slow as SLOW!

When people install vista they say

WOW! This is a piece of junk.

Then they say

WOW! I paid $400 for this, WOW! I'm an idiot now aren't I

So true...

Vista is the last attempt for the evil empire to get your last dollar... Gates knows that Micro$oft is dead and that is why he is turning everything over to others. Watch him sell off his shares of M$ and get his money out before it goes bust.... LINUX has arrived as the new desktop and things like Compiz/Beryl will give the end user the eye candy that they need to stay happy..

Vista is the last attempt for the evil empire to get your last dollar...

oh my!! :( how, fast and speedy FUD can get...
I found this on one of the most read newspaper over here, it's an interview with Kevin Turner (3rd on m$ management chain)

Turner anticipated a plan for students, that seeks to capacitate schools and teachers,..
..."The innovation idea is the 'M$ Students Innovation Suite', that includes Wlnd0ws Xp, M$ Home student, M$ Math, and others. Value price u$3000; now can be bought by only u$3"....

shameless, that's called dumping (it's no innovation), here and in any other place in the world.

Whatever, LET'S NOT FEED THE TROLL!!!

And the second worst thing is that they force us behave like some idiots and produce primitive sounds like "wow"

hehe, the monster is bleeding and groaning, look over here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOWeeVvhiAw
ROLF, they just keep asking ...WOOW, I would swear that is V1STA,,, isn't it V1STA?

sorry for re-bumping this old topic, but I found this,
http://humorix.org/articles/2007/04/vista/
Hoping to turn around dismal sales trends for Windows Vista, Microsoft today announced a new edition of the so-called operating system, Windows Vista® Shiny Things Edition(tm), which will feature a $3,950 price tag and "lots of shiny things
Among those useless features, Vista Shiny Things (tm) includes a set of 5 DVDs, each containing 20% more gold than standard discs. The extra gold doesn't add any functionality, but it makes buyers believe that this is a "luxury" operating system.
it gave me a good laugh:lol:, just clean out the coffee cup (or anything drinkable tm) from the desktop before.
might cure this rage...
