Hey guys, I've been using Linux for all of two weeks now and have managed, with the help of the fantastic community support, to install Ubuntu and Compiz Fusion. I have to say that this is the coolest OS I have ever used... and I have Vista Business installed on my other computer. I have also used Fedora, Kubuntu, Sabayon, Freespire, and StartCom.

My question is, while configuring CF, I was able to change everything that I wanted except a setting on the ring switcher. When you toggle through the windows (panels) in the ring, they bounce around everywhere like you're pulling them with rubber bands, and I'd like them to kind of snap to position. I tried disabling wobbly windows, and looking for the setting in the ring plugin, and in some of the others, but can't seem to make them settle down. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Try reducing the timestep of the RING Switcher plugin to a minimum. Here's how to do it:-
CompizConfig Settings Manager -> Window Management (left pane) -> Ring Switcher (Right pane) -> Misc Options -> Timestep Slider -> Pull to left edge (or make value in the string box to the right of slider 0.1000)
