Nach Start von Compiz, keine Fensterleisten mehr

Hallo Leute,

eines Vorweg: Ich bin ein ziemlicher Linux/Compiz Neuling...

trotzdem habe ich es irgendwie geschafft es zum Laufen zu bringen (oder auch nicht... :confused: )

Also wenn ich mein Compiz(über das Compiz Fusion Icon) starte, kann ich zwar wunderbar den Würfel bestaunen, aber das wars dann auch schon wieder!

Keine Fensterleisten mehr, keine Tastatureingabe mehr möglich...

Weils es recht schwer zu erklären ist hänge ich mal noch 2 Screenshots an!

Vielleicht kann mir ja wer helfen

Hast du die Emerald-Pakete installiert? Wenn ja: Steht die Farbtiefe auf 24Bit? Hallo Photon,

Diese Emerald Pakete sind installiert:
- emerald
- emerald-themes
- libemeraldengine-dev
- libemeraldengine0

Die Config habe ich wie in dem Artikel beschrieben geändert.

Leider hat sich daraus keine Verbesserung ergeben :o, wenn ich unter Compiz etwas starten will bekomme ich nicht nur keine Fensterrahmen angezeigt, sondern das ganze Fenster erscheint in einem Beige..mehr nicht, nicht mal eine Konsole kann ich öffnen....habe langsam den Verdacht das Compiz mit der "Graka" nicht zurecht kommt...

hallo markus

- benutzst du xgl oder aiglx oder den nvidia treiber für deine grafikkarte?
- funktioniert die kombination alt-f2 noch um einen befehl auszuführen?

falls du einen befehl ausführen kannst (per konsole oder mit alt-f2), gib mal emerald --replace ein, oder falls das nicht funkioniert gtk-window-decorator --replace...

ich habe bei dem rechner von meinem bruder auch ein problem mit compiz-fusion und dem Rahmen.

beim starten des systems sieht man keinen rahmen, nich weiter schlimm dachte ich, probierst es mal mit "emerald --replace" leider passiert da nix.
dann hab ich mal "compiz --replace ccp" probiert, da kam dann folgende fehlermeldung:

Die installierten Pakete passen nicht zueinander. Wie es scheint, sind die Compiz-Fusion-Pakete neuer als Compiz selber.

So Hallo Leude, da bin ich wieder, erstma danke für die vielen Antworten!

In letzter Zeit hatte ich das Thema etwas vernachlässigt, und hatte viel Stress auf der Arbeit, deshalb auch keine Zeit hier reinzuschauen....

Wie viele vllt. wissen gabs ja neulich die neue Ubuntu Version 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) die ich mir dann direkt mal raufgebuegelt hab, compiz fusion drauf und los gings....ich habe Fensterleisten *freu* die Windows "wabbeln" *freu* aber diesmal tut der cube nicht, sprcih wenn ich mehrere Arbeitsflächen habe (stelle ich 4 ein sehe ich 8 oO) dann kann ich zwar per Supdertaste + Alt + Tab, den Ring-Fensterwechsler nutzten, es sieht wärend dem Wechslen aber so aus als wären nur 2 Flächen aktiv, also in der Drehung nur ein dünner Strich....ich weiß das der Cube nicht lebensnotwenig ist, jedoch fände ich es sehr nett ihn zu haben!

Du benutzt KDE, richtig?

Deaktiviere Compiz über kwin --replace und dann wählst du im Workspace Switcher im Panel 1 Desktop aus.
Danach konfigurierst du den Cube wie hier (http://fsb.blogage.de/article/2007/9/7/Compiz-Fusion-konfigurieren) beschrieben.
