I know I used to be able to do this when I used Beryl but I can't remember how and don't even know if it's possible in compiz-fusion?

Hiya - this is kinda along the same lines;
i've merrily changed my desktop so there's only one bar at the bottom, withough thinking about previous settings - what app name would I have to use to set menu (such as Ubuntu Main Menu) opacity?
Thanks in advance

setting panel opacity or type=DropDownMenu should both work.
