Hello all
Well i'm no good at all with wikis and mainly i don't have time but i think it could be a good idea to speak a little bit about the new git repository in the wiki so people interested to get one could know ( Even if most of them allready know thanx to the forums or the ml :))
Have a nice evening

Thanks, I'll look into this. I do not use git, so I don't know much about it, but could you elaborate a bit more about what you would like in that section of the wiki? Thanks! :D

Well i wasn't precise enough in my last post i'll try to be clear this time.
First a little point about git :
it is just the main scm ( software content manager ( management system ? maybe)) that is used to host compiz code on freedesktop servers.
The main point of my idea is that a new repository has been setup on go-compiz.org and is meant to host third party compiz's plugins or projects related to compiz. ( By the way why aren't compiz third party plugins hosted on it ?)
The only problem is see now is that there is no real information about it on the wiki. Well it is not supposed to be on the main page but a paragraph on the developp page should be put to inform people interested about a place to host code.
Well i decided to write what i had in mind.
I tried to edit the wiki page but wasn't enable so here is what i wrote !
Feel free to change it so it is better ( and maybe erase some wrong syntax )
= Third party plugins repository =
A repository has been set up by David Reveman on http://git.go-compiz.org/.
It is meant to host non core plugins for compiz and other third party projects that are related to compiz.
A web interface is accessible at [Can't find it]. You can use it to watch latest developments.
= Get a repository for a new plugin or project =
If you are looking for a place to host the code for your newly created and fancy plugin for compiz, then http://git.go-compiz.org/ is meant for you.
Contact David Reveman (davidr@novell.com) to ask for a new repostitory.
