Hi all,
I'm curious to know if anyone out there has put together a moderately comprehensive description of how OpenGL compositing works on Linux/X systems.
I know the basic "render everything to offscreen image and map onto OpenGL texture" bit, but as a programmer who is just beginning to learn how X works, I'd like to know more... How does AIGLX work? How do the other methods work? etc.
Any info would be appreciated.
